Dr. Sylvestra Ramirez PT, DPT, MWH, CEAS
Clinic Founder/Director/Physical Therapist
Dr. Sylvestra Ramirez has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In addition, she has earned a master’s degree in Women’s Health and certification as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist. Dr. Ramirez founded Physical Therapy of Milwaukee back in 2013 to provide the Milwaukee community with its first fully bilingual PT clinic. Since then, PTM has treated thousands of patients and Dr. Ramirez has opened a second clinic, Physical Therapy of Wales.
Over the past 8 years, Dr. Ramirez and Physical Therapy of Milwaukee have received numerous awards and community recognitions for their work.

As a clinical instructor, Dr. Ramirez has provided various internship and mentorship opportunities for students all over the state of WI. Her goal is to provide access to high-quality bilingual PT services and to help educate on the benefits of physical therapy via treating patients, speaking opportunities, community events, social media and more! She has a passion for collaborating with local businesses and organizations to help improve the community’s overall health and wellness.
Dr. Maria Chilbert DPT, FAAOMPT
Maria was born in Milwaukee and grew up in the Kettle Moraine area before going to Ohio for college. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Findlay. In 2010 she received a bachelor of science for pre-physical therapy and a minor in Spanish. In 2012 she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduation, she immediately began fellowship training in manual physical therapy techniques and completed the requirements for fellowship status in 2016. Maria also completed her certification in dry needling for all areas of the body in 2018. Over the last 8 years she has worked in the outpatient setting specializing in the treatment of spine disorders for 3 of those years. Additionally, Maria participates in yearly medical mission trips to Guatemala as part of an orthopedic surgery team, where she aides in the post operative care and rehabilitation of the patients.
Maria also has a passion for sports and teaching, she played soccer at the collegiate level and continues to both play and coach in the Milwaukee area. She has taught joint mobilization courses for new graduates and physical therapy assistants. Maria loves to share her knowledge with her patients to give them a better understanding of their injury process, pain and how to make the best recovery.
Marketing Coordinator/Rehabilitation Specialist
Jordan was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and attended UW-Oshkosh where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He joined PTM to help give back to the community that he grew up in through community outreach with local organizations, schools and sports leagues to educate on injury rehabilitation, prevention and sports performance. Jordan also coordinates PTM’s internal and external marketing initiatives to help educate the Milwaukee community on the services that PTM provides. Jordan also coordinates the marketing initiatives for our second location, Physical Therapy of Wales. In his free time Jordan enjoys outdoor activities, playing sports, and spending time with his friends and family. Aida Muñoz PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Aida was born in Mexico, but raised in the city of Milwaukee. She has always had a passion for patient care and knew she wanted to join the healthcare field. Aida attended MATC and received a Medical Interpreter Diploma in 2010. She graduated from Bryant and Stratton College and received her licenseure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Aida has extensive experience working in outpatient orthopedic setting as a rehab tech, where she has developed an interest in working with chronic pain and complex patients. Aida enjoys being able to help others and learn from each individual. On her free time she is involved in church activities, and loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Amid Escobar PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Amid graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Gateway Technical College. He specializes in strengthening techniques, return to work conditioning, and neck/back pain treatments. In his free time, he enjoys working out and spending time with his family.
Front Desk Specialist
Ruby was born in raised in Milwaukee, WI. She is bilingual (Spanish/English) and has over 13 years of experience working in the Physical Therapy field.
She can help you schedule an appointment, verify your insurance and answer any questions you may have about Physical Therapy with PTM. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, camping and spending time with her family.
